UBL

Unpad Bioimaging Laboratory (UBL) is a sister laboratory of the Scientific Imaging Center (SIC), located at the Lab Sentral, Universitas Padjadjaran (UNPAD), Jatinangor. The laboratory was established through a collaborative partnership between Universitas Padjadjaran and PT Wadya Prima Mulia (WPM) as part of a shared commitment to strengthening bioimaging research infrastructure and advancing scientific innovation in Indonesia.

As one of the supporting imaging facilities within the SIC network, the laboratory aims to provide researchers, students, and academic staff with access to advanced microscopy and bioimaging technologies. The facility is equipped with the Evident FV1200 Confocal Laser Scanning Microscope, which enables high-resolution imaging for a wide range of biological and biomedical research applications. This technology supports various scientific studies, including cellular imaging, tissue analysis, fluorescence imaging, and other advanced microscopy-based research activities.

Unpad Bioimaging Laboratory (UBL) also serves as a platform for education, training, and collaborative research. Through this facility, UNPAD students and researchers are able to conduct bioimaging-related experiments and develop technical competencies in advanced imaging methodologies. In addition, the laboratory supports interdisciplinary collaboration and contributes to the development of imaging-based research ecosystems within Universitas Padjadjaran and the broader scientific community in Indonesia.

Through the synergy between academia and industry partners, the Unpad Bioimaging Laboratory is expected to become a sustainable center for scientific learning, research support, and innovation in the field of bioimaging and microscopy.
